Format

JPG works everywhere. WebP is smaller. PNG keeps transparency but is large. iPhone HEIC photos are saved as JPG.

How it works

Many forms ask for documents as a PDF. Add the photos of each page in order, check them, and press “Save as PDF”. Each photo gets its own A4 page, turned sideways when the photo is wide.

Before they go into the PDF, photos are resized to 2480 pixels on the longest side and saved as JPG at quality 85, which keeps text readable and the file small. Inside the PDF they aren't compressed again.

If the PDF has to be under a limit like 1 MB, open Settings and choose a file size per photo: for a four-page PDF under 1 MB, choose 250 KB.

Questions

Can I change the order of the pages?

Pages follow the order you added the photos. To change it, clear the list and add them again in the order you want.

Can I rotate a page?

Yes. Use “Rotate” on the photo before saving the PDF.

Does it work with iPhone photos?

Yes. HEIC photos are turned into JPG as they're added.

Is my document uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is made inside your browser, so your documents never leave your device.
